Aeglos or Gil-galad's spear was an elven glaive used by the High King of the Elves, Gil-galad. He was known to use it during the War of the Last Alliance where he met his end at the hands of the dark lord Sauron. It was taken by Elrond and stored in Rivendell after the battle.
