Elrohir was the twin brother of Elladan, son of Elrond Half-elven of Rivendell and Celebrian daughter of Galadriel. Elladan and Elrohir fought in the War of the Ring.

The sons of Elrond were not adapted during the Lord of the Rings or Hobbit trilogies although it is possible they were at the Black Gate like in the books. There are a pair of elves in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey who could be meant to be the brothers although this is unconfirmed.
