Grimbold was a soldier of Rohan and one of King Théoden's commanders. He commanded one of the flanks during the Battle of the Pellenor Fields.
History[]
Following the Battle of Helm's Deep, Grimbold was one of the many Riders of Rohan that joined forces with Théoden to aid Gondor during the Siege of Gondor. He served as one of the king's lieutenants, the other ones being Éomer and Gamling.
Trivia[]
- In the books, Grimbold did not survive the Battle of the Pellenor Fields but as he is not seen to have died it is unknown whether he survives in the screenplay.
