The Master of Lake-town was the wealthy leader of Lake-town during Thorin Oakenshield's quest to Erebor. He was greedy and owned much gold and treasure. Alfrid Lickspittle was his corrupt aide during this period. He was killed when Bard the bowman shot Smaug above Lake-town and the dragon's dead body fell on top of him.

Personality and Traits[]
The Master cared not for his people and only cared for his well-being. He looked down upon the people of Lake-town and did little to fix the corrupt systems. When the dragon attacked he told Alfrid that the people were worth nothing and tried to save as much Gold as possible.
