Morannon Orcs the strongest breed of Mordor Orcs to take up arms in the service of Sauron. During the Third Age, many legions of them were led by the Witch-King in the Battle of the Pelennor Fields. Among the orcs gathered at the Battle of the Black Gate where those who were bred at the Morannon, with only a few surviving the destruction of the Dark Tower.
