A Mordor Orc
Mordor Orcs were a sub-race of Orc bred by Sauron in Mordor. They made up the bulk of both the Army of Mordor and the Army of Minas Morgul.
History[]
During the War of the Ring, Mordor Orcs were first used in raiding parties, before being unleashed as legions against the Gondorians, most notably during both the Siege of Minas Tirith and the Battle of Pelennor Fields. They were also part of the garrisons of Cirith Ungol and Barad-dûr, as well making up the manpower. Though they all but overran the Rohirrim and Gondorians in the Battle of the Black Gate, the concurrent downfall of Sauron resulted in a great number of the Mordor Orcs being wiped out.
