The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies: VIsual Companion is a companion book to the movie The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. It is written by Jude Fisher and was released in 2014 by HarperCollins Publishing. It includes a foreword from Gandalf actor Ian McKellen.
Behind the Scenes[]
The book mistakenly says that Azog attacked the Company of Thorin Oakenshield in Mirkwood when it was in fact Bolg. It also mistakes Dwalin's "You sit here with a crown on your head but you are lesser now than you have ever been" line as Balin's instead of Dwalin.
