The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum is an upcoming film from New Line Cinema and Warner Brothers to release in 2026. It will be directed by Andy Serkis, who will also star in the film as the titular character. Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens will all be returning to produce and oversee the project.

Multiple new movies were announced by Warner Brothers Discovery in 2023 with no more information provided. In May of 2024, the movie was announced as "The Hunt for Gollum".
A fan film with the same title, drawing heavy inspiration from Peter Jackson's movies, already exists.
