Thrór was the dwarf king of Erebor, father of Thráin and grandfather of Thorin Oakenshield. He succumbed to Dragon Sickness over his treasure hoard and the Arkenstone. Almost getting killed by the dragon who attacks the mountain, Thrór loses his life when Azog kills him outside Moria.
