The Uruk was alive and active in Mordor during the third age.
History[]
Upon Sauron's return to Mordor, many slaves were taken by Orcs and Uruks in the land of Mordor. Hirgon, former Ranger of Gondor was captured and became a slave to this Uruk. Eventually he was sold by the Uruk to another Uruk known as Gimûb the Slaver for a keg of grog.
The undead ranger Talion and the spirit of Celebrimbor interrogated the Uruk later on his knowledge of the Black Hand of Sauron to which he told them that his slave claims to have fought the dark lieutenant and that he had sold him to Gimûb. Talion let the Uruk go after interrogating him.
He was killed not long after by one of the Uruk captains as Ratbag the Coward was being brought out to be executed as well.
